We recommend Occupational Therapy if your child has:
Skipped or delayed developmental milestones (breast feeding, rolling, crawling)
Social-emotional issues
Difficulty with handwriting
Poor balance, posture, coordination, and/or timing (ball skills, gross motor play and exploration)
Lack of hand preference by 4-6 years old
Sensory seeking or defensiveness (e.g. doesn't like some textures or constantly touching things, avoids touch of others or throws self on ground during play)
Trouble staying organized
Trouble with focus and attention
We recommend Feeding Therapy if your child has or had:
Frequent gagging
Coughing when eating
Food aversions
Difficulty nursing
Difficulty transitioning to purees or solid foods
Difficulty chewing
Excessive reflux or vomiting
Rashes
History of premature birth, NICU, intubation, cleft lip and/or palate, tracheostomy, or tongue-tie
Ongoing poor weight gain or weight loss
Food range of <20 foods
Mealtimes are taking too long and are very difficult
